Summary
The RAC Roadside Assistance team are iconic in WA. We can appreciate how many of these team members work solo, and what challenges this could present in maintaining connectivity and workplace culture.
Spread over a few sessions (to not disrupt their service), the RAC Roadside Assistance team joined Rapid Teams for their ‘Pathfinders at Optus Stadium’ program. One great thing about the Pathfinders challenge is the measurability of this team building program. Over three sessions, 140 RAC team members spent a total of 6 hours working together, completing an impressive 342 challenges. That’s almost one a minute. Take a moment to consider what that means in terms of collaboration of people who mostly work independently. Impressive!
The end result was the deepening of workplace connectivity and appreciation of skill sets and strengths that combine to form this team. Team members took time to reiterate important values of RAC including to be a driving force for a better WA while providing great member service.
